◎简　　介

　　该片作为1973年杰克·尼科尔森主演影片《最后的细节》续集，根据Darryl Ponicsan2005年所著同名小说改编，讲述在2003年，越战发生30年之后，曾一起服役的三位老友因同一个目的聚集在一起而发生的故事。前海军陆战队军医Richard Shepherd的儿子在伊拉克战争中牺牲，Shepherd的两位海军陆战队士兵老友Sal Nealon和Reverend Richard Mueller前来帮忙安葬祭奠他。Shepherd决定不在阿灵顿国家公墓下葬儿子，而是在朋友们的帮助下带着棺材前往家乡新罕布什尔州，开启了一段苦乐参半的旅程。三人追忆旧时光，畅谈痛苦的战争如何影响过去与现在的生活。
