◎简　　介

　　内尔在埃迪叔叔的帮助下去酒店帮忙照顾客人的孩子，她需要一份工作已经很久了，因此很感激埃迪叔叔。外表温顺，乖巧的内尔哄小女孩睡觉后，被女主人的珠宝首饰和漂亮衣服深深地吸引。此时，和女朋友闹别扭的飞行员杰德回到房间，看到窗户对面穿着华丽、正翩翩起舞的内尔。不久，杰德发现内尔的思维有问题，后来埃迪告诉他，他的男朋友死于空难，她经受不住打击，从此精神错乱，在医院治疗了三年后刚出院，家人希望她换个新环境，将她送到纽约。没想到她的病依旧没有好，她行为不端且具有暴力倾向，人们只好将她再次送入医院。
