◎简 介
医生路易斯（Dale Midkiff 饰）因工作关系，携妻子瑞秋（Denise Crosby 饰）、女儿艾莉和儿子普吉离开芝加哥搬到了某小镇中，新家近傍公路，屋后有一条蜿蜒小路。邻居杰德（Fred Gwynne 饰）老人介绍小路通往宠物坟场，那里埋着多年来死在公路上的动物们。第一天上班，路易斯就遭遇了一位重伤死亡的患者，他仿佛看到死者对他说话，对方声称为了感谢他的救助，将阻止他接近鬼魂。不久，儿女的猫被车撞死，杰德带领路易斯将猫埋葬在山上的印第安坟场，而猫竟然复活了，担心女儿伤心的路易斯松了一口气，但复活的猫咪变得异常暴力与恶臭。数天后，小儿子不幸被车撞死，伤心欲绝的路易斯想把儿子的尸体埋入印第安坟场……

- This alternate cut of horror classic Pet Sematary aims at making one of the best film adaptations of Stephen King\'s work an even darker, scarier, and more serious film, and more in tone with the book. Over 60 edits were executed to that effect. Nine minutes of footage were removed, altering the overall tone of the film dramatically. The few touches of humour have been deleted, and the presence of Pasco\'s ghost has been reduced to its bare minimum, making him scarier and less clownish. Some scenes have been recut, others have been completely eliminated, rescored, over-the-top SPFX removed or modified, bits of useless and out-of-tone dialogues have been deleted, and the ending has been altered. Some scenes have been slightly color corrected. A new 5.1 audio mix has also been created, featuring alternate sound effects, and music cues.
