◎简　　介　

　　Cookie密西西比州某个平静的小镇里，居民对镇上一位老寡妇的称呼。Cookie是一个作风传统的家族的长者，一直和她的两个侄女：咄咄逼人的Camille和羞涩的Cora住在一起。Cora的可爱女儿Emma搬回来与长辈同住，同时与当地的年轻警察Jason发生浪漫的恋情。Camille是当地的戏剧导演，在一次演出之后，她发现Cookie老太太自杀了！担心此事将影响家族的声誉，她将现场伪造成入室行窃杀人。这样做的后果是使得Cookie老太太的好朋友，Willis成为了主要嫌疑人。虽然小镇的其他居民不相信Willis会犯罪，但对此案疑团重重的警官Otis并没有放过蛛丝马迹，终于在复活节假期里揭开了更多令人震惊的真相……
