　　《绅士布朗科》承袭了杰瑞德·赫斯作品一贯神经质的“闷蛋”喜剧路线，不过加入了对于7、80年代经典科幻片——包括《星舰迷航》、卢卡斯的《五百年后》等片的戏仿，让电影更多了些怪调调。
　　故事讲述了迈克尔·安格拉诺饰演的高中生本杰明参加了一个科幻/奇幻作家培训夏令营，却不成想自己的辛辛苦苦写出来的故事，被夏令营的导师、世界上最出名的科幻作家罗纳德·舍瓦里给偷了去。而山姆·洛克威尔出演的就是本杰明故事中男主角——他穿着廉价的银色紧身衣、骑着机器驯鹿和独眼怪人作战的场面，真是太有趣了。
