简　　介  

　　杰弗里是好莱坞最著名的制片人之一，苛刻、严厉、贪婪、还是个双性恋者，他与妻子伊莱恩的两个孩子住在好莱坞富人区马利布山上，过着奢华生活。伊莱恩是一个编剧，但是却为越来越缺乏的创造力而紧张。为了自己在好莱坞的荣誉，杰弗里一直在想办法，终于初出茅庐的编剧罗伯特引起了他的注意。罗伯特为死于艾滋病的爱人写了一部剧本，杰弗里出价100万美元得到了其改编权，条件是让伊莱恩加入改编中，而且要把剧本中的女性改成男性。这份工作不但重燃了伊莱恩创作的热情，也让罗伯特异常兴奋，但没有想到这也让三人之间的关系变得复杂起来了……
