简　　介  

　　奈德（罗伯特·德尼罗 Robert De Niro 饰）和吉姆（西恩·潘 Sean Penn 饰）是两名逃犯，在逃亡的路途中，他们来到了一个地处偏远的小镇。阴差阳错之下，奈德和吉姆成为了牧师，而很快他们便发现，在这个小镇上，牧师享有着极高的地位和声誉。
