简　　介  

　　因某种原因，17岁的男孩丹恩·汤姆森（克里斯·凯利 Chris J. Kelly 饰）随着母亲苏珊（泰瑞·波罗 Teri Polo 饰）和弟弟卢卡斯（内森·甘宝 Nathan Gamble 饰）搬离喧嚣的布鲁克林，来到一座幽静小镇居住。虽然离开了朋友们，小镇生活也有些枯燥，好在邻居的女孩茱莉·坎贝尔（海莉·贝内特 Haley Bennett 饰）性感魅力，丹恩烦躁的心稍显平静。某天，兄弟俩打闹时无意间在杂物间发现一个深不见底的洞穴。
　　此后不久，卢卡斯和与兄弟俩熟捻的茱莉相继遭遇奇怪恐怖的事情，他们更在光天化日下看见一个双眼流血的小女孩。三人开始有意识地探究这幢房子和黑洞的过去，由此也唤醒了沉睡已久的恐怖……
