简　　介  
　　这是一部无伤大雅的西部歌舞喜剧片，故事背景是十九世纪美国圣大菲铁路开始从东部横越西部的时代。能歌善舞的朱蒂．迦伦饰演一个邮购新娘，从东部嫁到西部的新墨西哥州小镇，婚后在哈维所开设的新餐厅作女侍应。哈维是一名文质彬彬的赌徒，老于人情世故。他的女友则是性感尤物，负责经营一家妓院。就在这些风月场所之中，上演着各式各样的爱情故事和打斗动作，并有相当精彩的歌舞助庆。导演乔治．薜尼擅于掌握类型片的娱乐效果，而一群演出生动的配角也让此片生色不少。
