The first feature film by Canadian documentary film-maker John Howe. John Howe has been much praised in many film feativals for his documentary works such as "The Lion of Quebec", "Yukon Old, Yukon New," "Do Not Fold, Staple, Spindle, or Mutilate." 　　"Why Rock the Boat" is set in Quebec in the 40's, telling the story of a junior reporter.
