胡雪琴，graduated from Anhui Normal University and Nanjing University successively with two bachelor's degrees in Arts and Science. She received her master'sdegree in journalism and communications from Peking University. She taught at a naval academy for many years before working for a decade in media, for publications such as, The People's Daily's China Economic Weekly. She won the first prize in the "China Economic News Competition".
