为纪念宁波建城1200周年，在浙东唐诗之路的背景下，本书精选中国历代描写明州（宁波）及与明州有关的古诗词60首（以唐诗为主），以汉英双语对照＋彩色插图形式呈现。全书图文并茂，诗、书、画、印结合，将宁波特色文化以诗歌为载体，用多模态的形式推介给国内外读者，尤其是对宁波历史文化及中国古典诗词感兴趣的国外读者与国内英语学习者，真正讲好浙东的诗歌故事，充分展现历史文化名城、古典诗词、书画之魅力。

辛红娟，宁波大学外国语学院教授、博士生导师，教育部新世纪优秀人才获得者（2012）。兼任浙江翻译研究院执行院长、湖南省东盟文化研究与交流中心首席研究员等学术职务。
