《信息科学英语》是针对理工类院校尤其是信息科学学科的专业特色和培养要求编写的学术英语教程。本教材以语言运用培养为主线，有效融入学科专业知识，涉及操作系统、软件工程、互联网、电子商务、人机交互、大数据、人工智能、虚拟环境主题；练习设计与单元阅读技巧和单元主题密切相关，既注重语言知识的学习，又兼顾思辨能力的训练。旨在帮助学生在今后的学习和工作中较好地交流和获取信息，以培养学生在专业领域的语言应用能力和批判性思维能力。

吕茂丽，女，研究生学历，硕士学位，副教授，硕士生导师。研究方向为英语教学，英汉对比与翻译。近年来主持和参加省部级、厅局级和校级教学和科研项目10余项，编写书籍7部，发表学术论文10余篇。曾获山东省高等学校人文社会科学优秀成果奖二等奖，中国煤炭教育协会教学成果三等奖和校级教学成果一等奖。
