曹普，1965年生，江苏东海人，中央党校（国家行政学院）全国党校（行政学院）教师进修学院院长，教授，博士生导师。曾任（兼任）中央党校中共党史教研部副主任、中央党校国情国策研究中心副主任、中国中共党史学会党领导政治建设史研究专委会副会长、中国中共文献研究会陈云思想生平研究会副会长等。主要从事中共党史、新时期改革开放史、中国特色社会主义史的研究和教学工作，出版的专著有《时代的必然选择》等；主编的著作有《百炼成钢——中国共产党如何应对危局和困境》等；在《人民日报》《光明日报》《解放军报》等报刊发表文章百余篇。
