外文出版社与军事科学出版社联合策划并推出《抗美援朝战争史》一书英文版。《抗美援朝战争史》是中华人民共和国中央军事委员会交给中国人民解放军军事科学院的重大课题。该书中文版于2000年由军事科学出版社抢先发售出版,并分别于2011年、2013年进行了修订、改版,该书2001年被评为全国精神文明建设“五个一工程”奖。该书是中国部全面、系统反映抗美援朝战争的历史著作,也是专享一部“官修正史”,可以说是目前中国靠前抗美援朝战争史研究水平很高、很非常不错的一部著作,在靠前上众多关于朝鲜战争的史书中独树一帜,充分展现了中国观点和中国立场。该书从1949年10月1日新中国成立后面临的形式和任务写起,一直到1958年10月25日中国人民志愿军全部撤出朝鲜,全面、客观地记述了抗美援朝战争的历史,充分运用史料并有针对性地阐述了对这场战争中许多重大问题的认识,建立了不同于西方“传统”观点的朝鲜战争新视角。该书由军事科学院军事历史研究所军内外认可的抗美援朝战争史研究专家编写。该书英文版由军事科学院外国军事研究部翻译,是中国靠前翻译军事著作的非常不错机构。英文版稿件由作者、译者及出版方共同修订,政治观点鲜明,学术视角开放,是一部非常不错、系统对外表达中国对抗美援朝战争历史基本观点的一部重要著作。本书入选:“十三五”国家重点图书出版规划项目、“经典中国靠前出版工程”项目。
