本书共分4个部分35个单元，主要包括：电路原理、信号与系统、电子技术、随机信号分析、通信电子线路、通信原理、单片机技术、嵌入式系统、数字信号处理、数字语音处理、数字图像处理、移动通信、光纤通信、宽带通信、蓝牙技术等课程的英语文章。每篇文章的后面都加注了词汇表及音标。本书还编入了一些芯片数据手册、手机用户指南、英文简历写作、英文摘要写作等实用内容。

李敏，1962-，女，教授，辽宁省教学名师，主要从事智能信息处理方向的教学与研究工作，为本科生及研究生讲授《信号与系统》、《专业英语》、《随机过程》等课程。曾出版教材《信号分析与处理的软硬件实现》版和第2版，该书获辽宁省首批“十二五”普通高等教育本科省级规划教材；《综合电子系统设计与实践》获得辽宁省精品教材；《电工电子技术——设计与实践》获大连市科学著作一等奖。
