闫文收，男，河北保定人。2009年和2012年分别获得西北农林科技大学金融学学士和金融学硕士学位，2017年获得澳大利亚阿德雷德大学经济学博士学位，获得院长优秀博士论文奖。现就职于中南财经政法大学工商管理学院。研究方向主要是国际贸易理论与政策和新政治经济学。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项，参与多项国家自然科学基金项目和国家社会科学基金项目。

本书主要目的是揭示中国政府保护农业的经济和政治动因，并分析政策工具的经济影响。首先，挖掘中国农业贸易保护政策长期均衡决定因素并检验中国与其硒国家决定因素的异同。其次，剖析行为因素对短期农业贸易政策调整的作用，并分析国内储备政策和贸易政策协调对农产品价格波动的影响。最后，为发展中国农业和稳定国内农产品价格提出有效的对策建议。
