弗朗西丝·霍奇森·伯内特（Frances Burnett，1849-1924），女，英语世界家喻户晓的儿童文学作家、剧作家。伯内特的父亲早逝，家境贫寒，从18岁开始在杂志上发表故事，贴补家用。她的第一本畅销书是28岁时出版的《劳瑞家的闺女》，取材于幼年她在英国煤矿的生活。可是，让伯内特闻名于世的，是她的儿童文学作品。
