本书为《急救护理人员》分册，引进英国Express Publishing出版社的Career Paths系列教材改编而成，围绕急救专业基础知识和急救护理技术展开。为了使教材能更符合我国英语教学的实际情况和教学需求，我们增编了部分内容，增加了各单元的词汇表，对所有词汇加了中文释义。
