王天芳、孟凡毅、陈业孟主编的《中医诊断学(北京中医药大学英文版系列教材)》的内容包括绪论、诊法、辨证、病案书写及附篇五部分，共十四章及三个附篇。在本教材的编写中，除充分体现中医学特色外，还考虑了海外教育的理念、方式及学生的需求。在内容上以中国中医本科生的教学大纲为依据，兼顾了海外中医药从业人员考试大纲的要求及临床实践以针灸为主体、重按诊及体质辨识的现状，并突出望、闻、问、切四诊技能及辨证思维的培训；在编写方法和体例上，以案例为导向，注重知识点的归纳、小结及比较，图文并茂，并紧密结合临床，以增强教材的实用性；在编写语言上，考虑了非中文文化背景学习中医的需求，力求做到语言简洁规范，表述通俗易懂，符合英语语言的表达习惯。
