卫岭主编的《英语影视欣赏(国家精品课程系列教材)》是我们对英语影视欣赏这门课程多年探索、实践努力的经验积累。
本书是在原省级精品课程教材的基础上修订的，增加了另外六部影片的内容。修订后仍以影片为章节，分为Part A和Part B两部分，共十四个章节。Part A为新补充章节，由名人名言和三篇经典佳作阅读提供开胃食品，由背景介绍、剧情简介、文化注释、语言点、佳句欣赏、看听说练习、口语讨论及写作任务项目构成主菜单，最后由“相关影片欣赏”作为餐后甜点为整个章节画上圆满句号。Part A新增的阅读部分是对影片主题的抽象和提升，为学生提供哲学、社会学、心理学、文学等视角，帮助学生获得俯瞰主题所涉及的社会现象等更广阔的视野。
