《林志彬教授从事医学教育、科研工作50周年论文选集(1961-2011)》收录包括原著论文、综述、述评、讲座和科普文章等。林志彬教授在“把握机遇,执著追求”一文中谈到了参加西医脱产学习中医班后研究思想的转变,即从西医的观点转变为中西医结合的观点,立足于在中医传统理论和临床实践的基础上,采用现代科技方法研究中医的治则如“扶正固本”、“扶正祛邪”、“异病同治”等。在这些研究的基础上,对灵芝的“扶正固本”、“扶正祛邪”治则进行了探讨,选集中的“中医药传统理论指导灵芝的中西医结合研究”、“中西医结合研究诠释灵芝的扶正固本功效”二文即是中西医结合探讨灵芝的扶正固本(扶正祛邪)作用的文章。而选集中“灵芝预防流行性感冒的根据:正气存内,邪不可干”、“科学理解灵芝辅助治疗肿瘤的疗效”、“灵芝抗肿瘤研究的思考——扶正祛邪和与癌共存”等文也反映了作者从中西医结合的角度探讨如何合理应用灵芝防病治病、如何科学地评价其疗效,并对药品的GCP临床试验标准有了新的看法。
