据粗略统计，截至2011年国内涉及构式的研究有600多篇文章和著作。然而，国内关于构式理论研究的专著还为数不多。

邵春燕专著的《事件-构式框架与现代汉语复杂致使-结果构式》针对构式语法中存在的问题，提出一个事件，构式框架，指出构式语法的关键问题在于没有明确事件在构式中的作用，错误地将事件所发挥的作用归于构式。事实上，事件在语言习得中意义重大。“关于事件的知识通过提供解读事件的概念框架和增加处理空间而促进语言知识的发展”（Farrar，Friend＆Forbes1993：603）。尽管格语法、框架语义学和构式语法都曾经提及事件，但是它们仅仅将事件置于研究的背景之中而没有对其进行适当的描述和分析。

邵春燕专著的《事件-构式框架与现代汉语复杂致使-结果构式》从事件的角度研究构式，指出从说话者体验一个事件到最后用语言进行表征，经历了六个层次，即：经验事件、概念事件、框架事件、凸显事件、构式事件和词汇化事件。在这一框架中，事件是认知过程中人们对现实世界进行表征的心理依据，指的是人们日常生活中所经历的常规行为事件。它受到时间和空间的制约，其组成要素主要包括事件参与者、行为、道具和结果。事件一构式框架认为事件是语法研究中不可或缺的组成部分，旨在将对事件的描述与对构式的理解联系起来。“经验事件”是指人类日常生活中所经历的时间和空间限定的一切事件。“经验事件”可以抽象成为“概念事件”。“概念事件”是对具体经验事件中参与者和事件类型的初步抽象。这些概念进一步地泛化（generalization），构成一个意象图式，形成“框架事件”。“框架事件”中的参与者经历不同的凸显，即：一个事件中的某些参与者会得到凸显（pr06ling），而另一些则被背景化。“凸显事件”以“构式事件”的形式出现，被凸显的事件参与者获得自己的论元角色，以某一个语言所约定俗成的表达方式体现出来；最后，构式的各个语义空格由具体的词汇一一填充，完成事件表征的整个过程。事件呈现出层次性和结构性。
