本研究对我国大学英语口语策略进行了较大规模的实证研究。通过使用问卷调查、访谈和观察的研究方法，研究了638位中国大学生英语口语学习策略和英语口语使用策略的特点。

研究发现了中国大学生英语口语使用策略的7大特点和5种英语口语学习者类型，探讨了英语口语策略选择与其他影响语言学习的因素，找出了对英语口语成绩有正面影响的9种英语口语学习者策略，阐述了中国大学生在英语口语的学习和交流过程中口语学习策略的特点和不足。

本研究以638名来自不同中国大学、不同专业的英语学习者为研究对象，通过使用问卷调查、访谈和观察的研究方法，研究了中国大学生英语口语学习策略和英语口语使用策略的特点。本书提出了一些提高中国大学生英语口语学习策略的认识和使用能力，以及提高学生的英语口语学习效率乃至英语口语水平的教学建议。
