No Massachusetts Grief Assistance Program lives within Boston's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, whereas Philadelphia's Grief Assistance Program continues to work out of the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office. There exist many grief assistance programs throughout the U.S.,and they continue to do amazing work with the families of victims of violent death. I applaud them all. Please remember that Tally and her gang at MGAP live in a fictional world.
They call it the Grief Shop. It's the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for Massachusetts, and Tally Whyte is the director ol its Grief Assistance Program. She lives with death every day, counseling families of homicide victims. But now deathis striking close to home. In fact, the next death Tally deals with may be her own.The Grief Shop is getting a lot of business lately. Boston is in the grip of a serial killer known as the Harvester, die to his fondness for keeping bloody souvenirs of his victims. But many of those victims are people Tally knew. through he'r work or as friends. Tally realizes there's a connection, a link that only she can find. But she'd better find it fast. The Harvester is getting closer.
