此次POAC’07学术会议主题为寒区近海工程新进展,主要围绕极区海冰工程、海冰荷载、海冰物理力学性质、大气-海冰-海洋相互作用、冰脊、冰山、冰区航行、冰区逃生、冰区海底工程、冰区溢油、河冰等11个方面的问题进行深入的学术交流。
寒区工程方面的Dr.Garry Timco、Dr.Ken Crosdale、Dr.Mauri Maattanen、Dr.Joachim Schwarz等诸多国际资深专家参加了本次会议。另外,本次学术会议还吸引了美国BP石油公司、Shell石油公司、哈萨克Eni石油公司、中海石油总公司等众多工程部门的关注。中海石油研究中心的屈衍博士做了第一个大会特邀报告,对我国新型抗冰平台的研究成果以及面临的问题进行了深入的阐述。在本次POAC’07学术会议上,大连理工大学研究生分别做了学术报告,展现了我国寒区工程研究方面的新生力量。本书是此次会议收录论文的英文版。
