Ryoko has dug deeply into the sources that inspire landscape architecture as a profession, an art form and as a creative way of life. In doing this, she links experiences from her own background as a young Japanese student with similar and profound insights of the professors and historians who influenced her not only philosophically but also experientially.Ryoko has applied emotionally all of her life's experience yet all the while she looks deeply for the essence of what makes the landscape so important as a life force.
