The Home Learning Tools series is developed with Dr. Ed Tronick, Harvard Medical School's Chief of Child Development. The colorful, Fun and easy-to-understand books give you a great opportunity to learn more at home.
Each lesson will bring out the "1 can do it!" in your child -- and set them on a path for learning and success the rest of their life.
The Addition and Subtraction workbook provides an introduction to the adding and subtracting process. Both addition and subtraction sections begin by showing how objects combine or are removed from sets to create new sets of objects. The facts are practiced vertically and horizontally with objects and then without objects. The book progresses to 2-digit addition and subtraction and fact families. Suggest that the child start at the beginning of the book and work through the pages in order. For additional skill review, look for other Home Learning Tools educational workbooks.
