Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1958,Keith Hating came to New York City in 1978 to attend art school. He achieved widespread recognition and fame through international exhibitions. Known also for his involvement in social and charitable causes,Hating left a thriving legacy. He died of AIDS in 1990 at the age of thirty-one.
