目前国内中英双语版的《中国旅游文化》暂时没有对应教材，基于教育部高教司中外教材比较项目成果之一，本教材由东北财经大学萨里国际学院、北京联合大学、沈阳师范大学等国内长期进行旅游双语教学的高水平院校担任编写团队，选取近期新中国旅游文化近期新发展成果，对“讲好中国故事”有一定借鉴作用。教材配套丰富的音频、视频资料，配套课件、试题、案例、大纲等资源，便于教学使用。

本书用英文介绍了中国文化和文化旅游资源，包括中国旅游发展历史、文化遗产、历史建筑、文学艺术、书法绘画、节事庆典、传统工艺、饮食文化、中国武术和中医中药，以及它们与旅游之间的关系。每章开始的部分列出了本章的生词和中文释义，展示了本章的知识图谱，文中穿插了丰富的图片、案例、可扫码播放的有声资料和视频资料，每章的结束部分提供了主题案例和延展阅读书单。同时，本书也为教师提供了课件和习题库。
