黄锡光，1982年毕业于上海外贸学院，外贸英语专业。1994年评为原上海金融学院副教授，2005年评为原上海金融学院教授。1996年5月到1997年8月以高访学者身份赴美国匹茨堡大学研修。曾任原上海金融学院金融系和国际贸易系主任，后任上海海关学院教务处处长。
